Lloyd park workouts - personal trainer tips
Lloyd park is one of the best parks in East London for the variety of workouts. Firstly, Lloyd Park is the best park for all ages to improve their fitness, whether young or all -and everyone in- between! For example, there’s two play areas for kids. One play area has all-sorts of equipment for all ages and abilities, including a sandpit. The other (Aveling Fields) has a natural playground which includes climbing logs. Both areas are great to ensure your kids get some fun and exercise. Secondly, there are park keepers who attend to the park during daylight hours, so there’s always someone to ensure the park is in a good standard.
LLoyd Park, in Walthamstow has a fantastic outdoor gym. The Outdoor gym is free to use. There’s a range of workout equipment, all with detailed instructions on how to use it correctly. If you want to test your personal fitness, this is great place to focus your training.
There are 3 Tennis courts at Lloyd Park. Tennis is a great workout, it improves your cardio fitness and also improves agility. To have a tennis workout at Lloyd Park, you must either pay £30.00 membership or £5 per hour to book the courts. The membership entitles you to book the tennis courts at Lloyd Park for free. The membership also includes other Walthamstow tennis courts: Chingford Memorial Park, Ridgeway Park and Abbotts Park. I think the membership sounds like the best option!
Lloyd Park workout Facilities

Hollow Pond Park, Walthamstow
Im very fond of Hollow Pond Park in Walthamstow. Firstly, the park sports many green open spaces and a large pond. It’s great for park workouts.
St. James Park, Walthamstow
If you’re looking for a park that has large open spaces, and a great play area – St James Park is a good fit for you! Ok, so the Play ground could do with a little revamp, but the great thing about the playground is the positioning of it. You can pop your kids in the playground and workout in and around the park with a clear view to the kiddos. This park is great for running laps around the parameter, and step-ups using benches.
